Accreditation Costs

Our accreditation activities are considered the gold standard around the world, and we provide these services at the lowest cost possible. There are two different kinds of costs associated with TCB UK  accreditation: accreditation review fees and annual maintenance fees. These fees vary for programs located in the United Kingdom and for programs located outside the U.K.

Fee schedules are subject to change from one cycle to another and the updated versions are posted on our website every April.

Accreditation Review Fees

Accreditation review fees, due within 45 days of invoicing, are issued in May, cover costs of a review and its associated on-site visit. Programs outside the U.K will also be invoiced for actual travel expenses generated by the review team.

When an on-site visit is required for programs outside the U.K , TCB UK  will invoice for reimbursement of the team’s actual travel expenses after the on-site visit is completed. For reviews conducted outside of North and Central America which includes the Caribbean region, TCB UK  permits its review teams to travel business class. However, all teams travelling outside the U.K  will book refundable tickets regardless of the seating class.

When an on-site visit is required - which is always the case for programs new to TCB UK  having an initial review and for accredited programs having general reviews - the review fee is based upon the team’s size. There is a base fee for an on-site visit per commission (covers the team chair) and then a fee for each program evaluator (typically two program evaluators (PEVs) for one single program visit and one PEV for each program for a visit involving multiple programs).

When accredited programs go through interim reviews and an on-site visit is not required, the review fee is assessed based on the number of programs undergoing review.

Annual Maintenance Fees

Annual maintenance fees, issued every October, only apply to accredited programs and are due within 30 days of invoicing. They cover the cost of maintaining the updated records of accreditation status  and support administrative operations. For programs in the U.K  not aligned with a lead professional society and for all programs outside the U.K , an additional curricular fee is also assessed on an annual basis. Maintenance fees are invoiced each year regardless of whether a review is being conducted.
