The TCB UK provides a certification, evaluation and acceptance service to individuals and institutions.

Our service to students and educational institutions enables The TCB UK to verify and accept educational documents.

 The evaluation process that we undertake includes but is not restricted to:

• Course by course evaluation

• Document/Certificate evaluation

• Credential evaluation

• Expert opinion evaluation

• Equivalence evaluation

What is a course by course evaluation?

A course by course evaluation lists the courses, the grades, the credits and their United Kingdom equivalence. The evaluation will include and describe the educational documents and provide the equivalent of each with the United Kingdom educational standards.

What is a document/certificate evaluation?

This process will allow the evaluation to establish that the educational document originated from a valid establishment and the document’s contents are verified and their United Kingdom equivalent is established.

What is credential evaluation?

The TCB UK undertakes a credential evaluation on behalf of the party concerned. The credential evaluation will be undertaken on the basis of the entity that requires the evaluation. The evaluation will depend on the type of verification required.

What is an expert opinion evaluation?

The TCB UK undertakes an expert opinion evaluation on educational credentials, work experience, technical training of an individual to establish the veracity of the applicant. The expert evaluation is undertaken by an individual who is an expert in the relevant field.

What is an equivalence evaluation?

This method of evaluation is primarily aimed at potential students who intend study outside of their country of origin. This will allow the holder of qualifications to establish their United Kingdom equivalent and the TCB UK will ensure that the process is a smooth one for the potential applicant.

What documents should I submit to the TCB UK?

You should submit to the TCB UK all educational documents that need evaluation. This includes degrees, diplomas, certificates, mark sheets, transcripts or other records of any educational achievements that you may have completed.

Will the TCB UK accept, photocopies/email and faxes?

The TCB UK will always request original documents. We will however consider the acceptance of photocopies where there is reason to believe that the original cannot be provided. The TCB UK will confirm on the evaluation whether the TCB UK worked with an original or a copy.  The TCB UK will not release certain official documents.

How long will it take to complete my evaluation request?

The turnaround times for the evaluation process will vary depending on the type of evaluation service required.

Document by document evaluation can be completed as quickly as the same day for an expedited processing charge. The other forms of evaluations generally take between 5 - 10 working days.
